Bartercard provides us with something extra that we can offer to our members and their families!” says Vicki Shepherd, Vice President, Mudgeeraba Nerang & Districts’ Cricket Club. “For example, we are able to enhance the atmosphere of our 125th Anniversary Twenty 20 game day by hiring, on Bartercard, jumping castles and other entertainment.
Our Club’s membership has increased this year and as a result we are going to have substantially more expenses. Knowing we have a sponsorship from Bartercard means we can upgrade our junior kit bags with new bats, helmets and pads at the end of this season. This will help preserve our cash reserves to spend on other essentials such as the increased maintenance costs of our new turf pitch on Bartercard 2 Oval.
We also intend to spend Bartercard Trade Dollars on trophies for both the Senior and Junior Presentation Nights at the end of the season. We spend well in excess of $2000.00 a year on trophies so this will be a considerable cash saving for the club.
