We recently spend approximately $10,000 on apparel for the club for example bags, t-shirts, training t-shirts, and caps. At the time there wasn’t a member on Bartercard who could supply everything we were after so we approached a business with a purchase request and they joined Bartercard and completed the order in Bartercard Trade Dollars. We wouldn’t have purchased from this particular company if they hadn’t joined Bartercard as we had other cash suppliers that we could have used.
Bartercard have been a long-time supporter of the Sunshine Coast Sea Eagles, they’re a trusted name and get what we are trying to achieve. Bartercard is one of our supporters that generate new business for us through introductions to other business owners.
If we can’t get a sponsor across the line, Bartercard can help. We offer to take on contra as part payment which we on sell through Bartercard. A recent example of this is when we sold a sponsorship package which the sponsor paid for in cash and cases of wine. We were able to on sell the wine through Bartercard – they have no shortage of buyers.
You’ve got to remember that Bartercard is real money. You name it you can do it on Bartercard, you’ve just got to be disciplined to look at ways to spend it.
