Over a decade ago, I was working with a small chamber of commerce committee to assist with organising speakers for events. I thoroughly enjoyed this role, however I wanted to build my confidence in the area of networking.
Coupled with my full time work, I began a small networking organisation on the side. Cash was tight back then, so I used to use Bartercard for all sorts of essentials, like car and computer repairs, and haircuts.
My business has progressed a really long way since then, but Bartercard has remained a serious lifesaver to me. I use it in a different way now, sure, but there’s never any doubt in my mind I’m in a better position being a member.
