It’s easy to make sales in Bartercard as the system is in place and you have a specific audience to sell to!
I think the Bartercard system has improved immensely over the last 3 year with the advancement of its online facilities. It is easier to trade online and more and more members are going to the Bartercard site to make purchases.
Bartercard provides me with tremendous flexibility within my business to do the things I need to do. With Bartercard you have to be resourceful, innovative and persistent. You need to engage in the system and persevere with your spending. I travel a lot reviewing wineries, restaurants and cafes for my publishing business. I’m able to hire cars, stay in Bartercard accommodation and dine in Bartercard restaurants. Not only is it a cost saving to my business, it’s also enjoyable!
Bartercard isn’t the sort of system where you can always purchase a specific item; rather you need to get creative with your spending by using it in different ways to help save cash. For example, you can pay your suppliers in Bartercard gift certificates, or purchase something on their behalf through the system. If I want something specific that isn’t available on Bartercard, I’ll approach a supplier and offer to purchase something they need to the same value, then trade that product or service for the service or product they offer.
I’d recommend Bartercard to any business. It’s a way you can push your business forward – you’ve just got to trust it and trade!
