When we closed one of our outlets earlier this year, we were presented with the challenge of moving a lot more excess stock than we usually would have to. In particular, we didn’t have any room for the extra tiles in our remaining outlet, so it was quite a time sensitive matter.
Through a collaboration with Bartercard, our Trade co-ordinator came up with the idea of having a half day sale for Bartercard members. We thought this would be great, especially with Bartercard offering to organise and run the advertising campaign around it, resulting in even further savings to us that we would usually encounter when running a sale.
The end result was more than $300,000 in sales in just 4 hours – which we were incredibly pleased with! It all happened so quickly and so easily.
